The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) named its 2012 award winners, as voted by the general membership, on Wednesday evening

Winning Mister, owned by Bob Key and trained by Rich Gillock, was named Horse of the Year and Trotter of the Year. The well-travelled trotter made The Meadows his main base of operation for the year, and he had plenty of success at his local track. For Key, it was one of five trophies he would take home for the night.

Schoolkids, owned by New Jennaration LLC and Heather Kolaczynski, took Pacer of the Year honours. A multiple winner in Preferred company, Schoolkids was trained throughout the year by Mike Palone.

2YO Filly Trotter of the Year
Ruffleshaveridges - Rick & Regina Beinhauer, owners, Rick Beinhauer, trainer.

3YO Colt Pacer of the Year
Carols Comet - Martin Presser, Whiskey Tango Stable, Bill Moore and Matt Moore, owners, Ron Potter, trainer.

3YO Filly Pacer of the Year
Apogee Hanover - Roger Hammer, owner and trainer.

3YO Colt Trotter of the Year
Frost Bites K - Bob Key, owner, Rich Gillock, trainer.

3YO Filly Trotter of the Year
Miss Chip K - Bob Key, owner, Charlie Norris, trainer.

Older Stallion/Gelding Pacer of the Year

Older Mare Pacer of the Year
