Posts Drawn For Messenger, Lady Maud
Hillbilly Hanover, who hasn't won a race all season, won the draw for Saturday night's 57th edition of Yonkers Raceway's Messenger Stakes for three-year-old colts and geldings.
The final jewel of the Pacing Triple Crown, worth $415,820, goes as the eighth race on the 13-race wagering card (first post 7:10 p.m., approximate stakes post time 9:35 p.m.).
Seven colts and one gelding are set to the contest the Messenger Stakes, and here’s how they’ll line up behind the starting gate:

- Major Bombay, the New York Sire Stakes champ this season, is one of four Empire-breds (Domethatagain, Lawgiver Hanover, Steelhead Hanover) in this race
- Pet Rock returns to Westchester for the first time since winning the Art Rooney Pace here in early June. His 1:51 effort was a stakes record and a track record for his age group
- Bolt The Duer, second to Pet Rock in the Rooney after cutting the mile, is the world record-holder over a five-eighths oval off his 1:47.4 win in the Adios at the Meadows.
