Cashahallic Dazzles In Delaware Debut

Michael Lipman’s Cashahallic ($4.60, Ross Wolfenden) made his Delaware debut a memorable one as he set a new track record for four-year-old trotters with a 1:55.4 win in a conditioned event Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

The Cash Hall gelding had been racing at Yonkers this season and appeared to enjoy the post relief after starting from post eight his last three starts. Leaving from post five, the Chris Scicluna-trainee set all the fractions in his three length win over Dilly Dally Delia and Tug River Man.

The previous track record was held by Maravich (1:56.2), who two races later won his fourth consecutive race at Harrington for Dylan Davis, trainer and co-owner of the five-year-old Lockeeper gelding with Michael Casalino.

Driver Victor Kirby had three winners. Wolfenden, Allan Davis, and Brad Hanners each had doubles.
