The contest will consist of 12 point-based races, with the following structure:

Upon completion of the last race on the card, the driver with the most combined points will be declared the winner. Race fans will then have the opportunity to dine with the drivers during a corn roast/BBQ served under the grandstand from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 each, and along with the generous donation of drivers’ fees from the events, and through sponsorship of the food, 100 per cent of the ticket sales will be given back to Childcan, this year’s charity. There are a limited number of BBQ tickets available, so please contact Clinton Raceway for advance tickets.
“We’re overwhelmed with the support that has come from the industry and individuals as this day approaches” stated Nicole Wellwood. Wellwood has been instrumental in planning the day. Her son, Evan, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and has been one of the many families that has received assistance from Childcan through their journey.
The event, now in its 32nd year, has raised over $240,000 for various clubs and charities. Childcan, this year's recipient, is an organization based out of London, Ont. that his committed to helping families in the immediate area through the journey of childhood cancer.
Additional fundraising efforts that day include a bake sale, 50/50 draw, bottle drive and a twoonie auction. Kids can get up close and personal with a real racehorse, play in the corn box, and make a special craft. Patrons can also enter a ballot for the chance to drive in an exhibition race with the driver of their choice, all thanks to the Hands on Horses Program, and project iDRIVE.
