The win streak is now three and counting for T Js Mr Lavec, who notched his latest victory in Monday's $18,400 Preferred Trot at Western Fair Raceway.
The four-year-old son of Mr Lavec was last at the quarter pole for driver Trevor Henry, who managed to latch on to third-over cover in the back half of the mile. T Js Mr Lavec used a :30.1 final quarter to propel himself to the 2:01.1 decision.
The Wayne Henry trainee defeated Grin And Boo It and Stonebridge Diablo en route to notching his sixth win of the season.
Jim Laverty and Trevor Henry share ownership on the OSS graduate, who has banked $285,046 to date.
A change of scenery helped Lady Mach find her way back to victory lane, as she took home top prize in the $15,200 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace for trainer Jim Ainsworth.

Mike Sumner chopped out panels of :28.3, :59 and 1:28 with the Ainsworth pupil, who finished off her foes with a :30.1 final frame. Azucar Amelia was second in the 1:58.1 affair. Tymal Vector rounded out the top three.
Ainsworth co-owns the 14-time winner with partners William Boden and Martwest Racing Stable. She boasts lifetime earnings of $192,968.
Pacific Prince was last to the quarter pole in the $12,800 Preferred 2 Pace, but he was the first to the finish line for driver Brad Forward and trainer Kim Bakker.
The five-year-old Northern Luck gelding used a :29 second closing quarter to prevail by a half-length margin over runner-up Missionacomplished. Pray For Luck rounded out the top three.
Owned by London, ON partners Martin O'Toole and Thomas Lawson, the pacer won for the fifth time this season and for the 13th time in his career. The lion's share of the purse lifted his lifetime earnings to $113,446.
