Pat Kennedy Retires
On Tuesday, July 31, Pat Kennedy, Standardbred Canada’s registrar and manager of Member Services, will retire from the organization.
Kennedy joined the Canadian Trotting Association in 1973 in the Registration Department. In 1987, she was named manager of Member Services and has held that position for the past 25 years. In 1998, Standardbred Canada was formed after the amalgamation of the Canadian Trotting Association and the Canadian Standardbred Horse Society.
In 2009, Kennedy was appointed as SC's official registrar. Previous to that, she held the position of assistant registrar for six years.
“On behalf of the Board and staff of Standardbred Canada, we sincerely thank Pat for years of tremendous service to the membership,” said John Gallinger, president and CEO of Standardbred Canada. “While she will be missed, we congratulate her and wish her well in all of her future endeavors.”
Please join everyone at Standardbred Canada in wishing Pat Kennedy the very best as she embarks on the next chapter in her life.
