Henry Takes The Lead At Clinton
Trevor Henry took over the top spot in the drivers standings at Clinton Raceway with a five-win performance on Sunday afternoon.
The Arthur, Ont. resident started the day with back-to-back victories in the second and third races aboard Kyle Reibeling trainees Theron Seelster ($5.80) and the maiden-breaking Pocketfulasunshine ($7). He later won the sixth race J J S Jet ($7.70) for conditioner Paul Taylor and the ninth with Albergetty ($2.70) for Doug Walters before closing out the 12-race card with one more triumph aboard St Pete Star ($2.40) in the finale for Rob Lindenfield.
Henry surpassed Jason Brewer in the track's standings, pushing his local win total to 19 for a three-win lead. Henry currently ranks among the top 10 drivers in Canada this year for number of wins (263), winning percentage (0.357) and purse earnings ($1,705,795). His 263 wins put him in second place in the win column behind Billy Davis Jr.
