Hit The Links In Support Of OSAS!
Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society Event Coordinator Joanne Colville has spoken with Trot Insider in regard to next week's Steve Condren Golf Tournament, the 16th annual edition of the event which directly supports the province's harness horses.
Colville explained that there are several spots still available for golfers interested in participating in the tournament, which will take place on Wednesday, July 18 at Piper's Heath Golf Course in Hornby, Ont.
"Everything is going well," Colville said regarding preparations for the tournament, one of OSAS' major fundraisers. "It's always a great day for everyone involved and is something that everyone has circled on their calendar.
"Especially this year, we would really appreciate the industry's support with this initiative, given the extensiveness and the magnitude of what is currently occurring in the Ontario industry."
Colville explained that there are still spots available for the always-popular event, which raises funds in order for OSAS to find permanent homes for retired harness horses.
Single and/or team entries are welcome. The registration fee is $250, which includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, dinner, prize table and souvenirs (tax receipts are available).
A shotgun start will take place at 1:00 p.m. with registration and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To register, or for more information, please contact Joanne Colville at 905-854-6099 or by email at [email protected].
