Windsong Joker Jogs In Debut
More two-year-olds were on display at Mohawk Racetrack on Monday evening, and Windsong Joker was the latest freshman to make his first ever trip to victory lane.
Purchased for $20,000 from last fall’s Canadian Yearling Sale, Windsong Joker rallied for a 1:55.3 score in his pari-mutuel debut for the tandem of driver Randy Waples and trainer Barry Treen. The grey son of Jeremes Jet-Access Hollywood defeated Champagne Phil (Shanghai Phil-Champagne Gal) and Instant Refund (Lis Mara-Rapid Reanne).
Len Gamble of Etobicoke, ON holds the ownership papers on the handsome youngster who is a half-brother to OSS graduate, Misty Moonstone (1:51 - $306,097).
