Quebec Breeders' Legal Warning Posted
Trot Insider has received an English copy of the legal warning that Association Hippiques des Reproduction du Quebec issued to the provincial government, SONACC, Attractions Hippiques' Paul Massicotte and Loto-Québec on October 30.
The legal warning states that the group of breeders holds the above-mentioned parties accountable for their precarious financial position and demands a solution be brought forth. The notice states that if a solution is not advanced in the next 15 days, legal action will be initiated.
Association Hippiques des Reproduction du Quebec action is on behalf of Michael Perzow (operator of Les Ecuries Oka Valley Standardbreds), Marcel Lacaille (operator of Ferme Canaco), Pierre Guillemette (operator of Fermes Georgette Guillemette Inc.), Alain Veilleux (of Ferme Drummond), Andre Fontaine (of Ferme Andre Fontaine), Pierre Levesque (of Ferme Angus Farms), Rejeant Lassonde of Ferme Rejeant Lassonde), Monalisa Pagliericci (of Les Ecuries SOS Bedford Inc.) and a number of other breeding farms.
