Trainer Michelle Warner sent out a parade of winners from her stable during the dozen-dash card at Vernon Downs on Friday, Nov. 6.

Warner opened the program with pacing mare Escape The House ($3.24) winning by three lengths in 1:56 flat in rein to Leon Bailey. Onspeed N ($14.54) and driver Chris Long provided her next victory in the fourth race in a season's best 1:56.4 mile for the 12-year-old pacing mare. Trotting gelding Poker Play ($15.18) was a 1:57.4 winner in the sixth race with Aaron Byron in the bike then pacing gelding Captain Conan ($3.90) and Bailey completed the training grand slam for Warner with a 1:54 score in the 11th dash. The win was Captain Conan's second in a row.

Warner, Vernon's defending training champion, has won 36 races this season and is only two wins behind 2026 meet leader Gary Gibson while David Dewhurst is second with 37 tallies with just three race dates left.

In the driver standings, Bailey leads Long by 13 wins after each reinsmen had a four-win Friday night.

Live harness racing returns to Vernon on Saturday, Nov. 7 with a post time of 5:05 p.m.
