Wickedpace delivered on her 1-5 pari-mutuel promise with a dominant victory in the $14,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace at Flamboro Downs on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Completing a Sunday night driving hat trick for J Harris, Wickedpace cleared to command rounding the first turn and rebuffed a mid-race challenge from Gentrify (Brett MacDonald) as she posted fractions of :27.1, :57 and 1:24.1 en route to a 4-1/2-length victory in a season's best clocking of 1:53. Shoot The Whiskey (Ed Hensley) followed in the pocket to place while A Bets A Bet (Scott Coulter) closed from the back of the seven-horse field to nab the show honours.

Wickedpace, an Ontario Sires Stakes graduate with more than half a million dollars in earnings, is owned by trainer Paul Cameron and Jayme Cameron of Guelph, Ont., along with Arnolds Horse Shack of Mississauga, Ont. The daughter of McWicked-My Little Art has earned five wins in 21 starts during her four-year-old campaign.
