Father First; Driver Second

Jason Bartlett

Driving horses for a living - especially at the highest level - regularly keeps one away from home many nights of the year. Jason Bartlett, however, didn’t have a father growing up, and he wanted to make sure he was a solid presence in the lives of his two sons - so he simply concentrated on driving close to home, at Yonkers. Their basketball coach, their friend and their mentor, Jason’s boys are older now, but even though he’s now found time to achieve some Grand Circuit success, he still makes sure he’s home with his family every single chance he gets.
