Hazel “Pauline” Jamieson passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, at East Cumberland Lodge in Pugwash, N.S., at the age of 94.

Pauline is now reunited with her husband of 68 years, Frank; daughters, Sylvia, Emma and Ruth; grandchildren, Mark and Penny; and honourary children, Carol and Jim Faulise. She is survived by her sons, Roddy (Raylene), Mount Pleasant, Carl (Deb), Fred (Sue), all of Ontario, Ivan (Joan), North Wallace; daughters, Colleen and Virginia, Wallace, Cathleen, British Columbia; 23 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was loved by many. 

A Standardbred owner and former harness racing participant as a driver both on the track and in ice races, many of Pauline's family followed her footsteps in the industry including sons Carl, Fred, Ivan and Rod, as well as grandchildren Tim and Jody.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice. A private service will be held at a later date.
