Late bloomer Turbo Compresseur has perfected his winning technique at Hippodrome 3R, closing from the back of the pack for five straight victories.

In his latest conquest on Sunday, Oct. 18, Turbo Compresseur and driver Simon Delisle circled a field of seven to win the afternoon's sixth race $3,750 conditioned trot in 2:00.1. After trailing early on, the favoured Maxime Velaye trainee propelled forward and drew off by 4-1/2 lengths at the end. Stella Alpha (William Roy) and Yes (Pascal Berube) rounded out the top three.

A homebred for Ecurie Provoquante of Mirabel, Que., the four-year-old Muscle Mass-Affirmee gelding just started his racing career on Aug. 20, finishing a closing third in his debut before perfecting his technique to reel off five wins in a row.
