Daya

Three-year-old pacing filly Daya, the runner-up in the 2026 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final and 2025 O'Brien Award finalist, has been sold to stateside interests.

A homebred of Hall of Fame trainer Jack Darling, Daya sold in an online auction through OnGait.com on Friday, Oct. 16. The richest daughter of Bulldog Hanover, Daya sports a career mark of 1:49s — taken in her Simcoe Stakes win at Woodbine Mohawk Park in September — along with $887,140 in career earnings.

Consigned by Darling, Daya was purchased by Greg Luther’s Prolific Equine of Ohio for $492,857 ($345,000 USD).
