Woodbine Mohawk Park on-air personality Chad Rozema, who has served as track announcer over the past few seasons, will be departing Woodbine Entertainment for a new business venture outside of racing.

Woodbine Entertainment announced on Thursday, Sept. 24 that Rozema’s final night in the announcer’s booth will be Oct. 17.

Rozema originally joined Woodbine in 2007 as a commentator for HPItv before becoming a mainstay host and analyst for Woodbine’s Standardbred simulcast coverage. Notably, Rozema has been a trusted host and analyst for Woodbine’s network coverage over the last decade-plus. Rozema contributed to "Bet Night Live" on The Score, "Racing Night Live" on TSN and many of Woodbine’s marquee events, including the Pepsi North America Cup. He had returned to the Woodbine broadcast team after serving at Raceway Manager at Grand River Raceway for the 2023 season.

Woodbine has launched its search for the next full-time voice and host for Standardbred racing at Mohawk and wishes Rozema all the best in his next chapter.
