Christopher Dance N, a Kiwi son of Sweet Lou-Just Dance who won the #SendItIn Pace on 20th Anniversary Night at Harrah’s Philadelphia eight days ago, came right back to repeat in the $22,535 Winners Over Handicap Pace on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Christopher Dance N’s chances appeared to improve when two late scratches in the feature moved his post from seven to five; also figuring to be helped was the Harrington shipper Wehadababyetzaboy (Brandon Givens), already a 12-time winner in 2026 and now bidding for his 13th from post six instead of post eight. But both got a rough early time from Always A Thrill (Patrick Ryder), who kept his foes two- and three-wide most of the :25.4 quarter before yielding; Christopher Dance N went to the top then ceded the front to the Delaware shipper.

Wehadababyetzaboy got a mini-breather to a :54.1 half, then had to speed up again to keep out Back Pocket Miki (Pat Berry) through the 1:21.4 three-quarters, with the winner sitting the dream trip. In the stretch, driver Simon Allard took the earner of $409,188, now successful in 18 of 37 lifetime starts, inside of the leader and showed him clear road, and the two-holer overhauled his foe by three-quarters of a length in 1:49.1. Always A Thrill was third. The six-year-old stallion Christopher Dance N is trained by Enrico Robinson and owned by Pollack Racing LLC. He paid $2.40 to win.

In the $19,014 sub-featured pace for up-and-coming males, the five-year-old Tom Hill-Racezapan gelding Moneyhill Gb ($3) presented himself ready after 70 days away from the races, making the lead just after the first turn and then pacing home strongly in :55.1 - :27.1 to equal his record of 1:51.1. Moneyhill Gb, brought to North America from the United Kingdom last year, racked up his 18th win in 46 starts. Jonathan Ahle piloted the gelding for trainer Robert Cleary and Haughfield Racing. Hunt Me Up (Troy Beyer) finished second, followed by In The Moonlight (Simon Allard).

Driving doubles on the 14-race card were achieved by Jim Marohn Jr., George Napolitano Jr. and Art Stafford Jr. Trainers with two wins were Julius Czermann Jr. and Darren Taneyhill.

Racing returns to Harrah’s Philadelphia on “Trottin’ Thursday” with a 12:25 p.m. card. Last week’s feature winner Super Duper Cooper has been put “behind the eight ball” in the featured $16,000 USD Winners Over Handicap Trot.
