Lady Cafe Au Lait will look to continue her perfect Prince Edward Island campaign on Thursday, Sept. 10 during a card that features Atlantic Sires Stakes action at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The capital oval has 15 dashes scheduled for a 6 p.m. (ADT) opening post time, with Lady Cafe Au Lait starring the $5,550 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace in race 14.

Lady Cafe Au Lait is the 5-2 morning line favourite with her 12-race win streak on the line from post five with Marc Campbell driving for trainer Earl Watts and owners Windemere Farms of Springvale, P.E.I., and Matt & David Burke of Stratford, P.E.I. The four-year-old daughter of Big Jim is unbeaten since relocating to P.E.I., where she has recorded 10 of her recent wins, a 1:52.1 track record performance at Red Shores Summerside and a victory in the $30,000 Sapphire Series during Old Home Week.

Her seven rivals include Badgirl Bridgette from post seven with Jason Hughes driving for trainer Bill Lanigan and CC Rockin Rosie from post six for trainer/driver Adam Merner.

The "Post Time Picks" selects Lady Cafe Au Lait to win it: “We’re running out of adjectives to describe this mare. Her versatility and dominance over her peers has been a treat to watch. She’s been perfect since relocating to P.E.I. and comes into this race off a lucrative win in the Sapphire, so expect another gate-to-wire score for this talented four-year-old daughter of Big Jim.”

Atlantic Sires Stakes trotters will also be showcased throughout the program.

The three-year-old trotting fillies will compete for $12,080 in race two, where Bonmati is the 5-2 morning line favourite from post three with Corey MacPherson driving for trainer Blayne White. She will aim for a second Atlantic Sires Stakes victory after taking an Aug. 9 division at Summerside.

Two-year-old trotting fillies will meet for $12,500 in race four and Saulsbrook Disco is favoured from the rail with Marc Campbell driving for trainer Landon Campbell after winning her latest Lady Slipper Stakes assignment.

Race seven carries a $12,000 Atlantic Sires Stakes purse for two-year-old trotting colts. Stunning Speed will look for his seventh straight victory to continue his undefeated campaign when he leaves from post four for trainer/driver Mike McGuigan.

Another $12,000 two-year-old trotting colt division goes in race nine, where Muscles Dreamer is the morning line choice and will leave from post four for trainer/driver Adam Merner in a field of rookies all hoping to break their maidens.

Three-year-old trotting colts will contest a $12,480 Atlantic Sires Stakes division in race 11. Little Louis is the 5-2 morning line favourite from post two for Corey MacPherson and trainer Kuri White as the defending divisional champion will look for his seventh straight win.

The fourth leg of the Island Oceans Trot Series carries an $8,000 purse in race 13. Fight Song will try to win his third straight against this group from post five with Jason Hughes driving for trainer Ashley Gamester, while morning line choice Buckhead Ridge will be a top contender starting just to his inside for the father and son, driving and training team of Marc and Landon Campbell.
