Wehadababyetzaboy overcame post eight with an early blast to the front and streaked away to a 4-1/2-length victory in 1:51 in the $31,250 Open Handicap Pace on Monday, Sept. 7 at Harrington Raceway.

He marched off the gate for Brandon Givens and assumed command early in the mile, then posted panels of :27, :56 and 1:23.3 and ran up the score as he won the Harrington Open for the third time this season. Icaco Hanover (Russell Foster) rode the pocket for second, with Armada Hanover (Tony Morgan) closing for third.

The winning seven-year-old Sweet Lou-Camille gelding has enjoyed an outstanding campaign for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. with 2026 earnings of $279,934. Monday's win was Wehadababyetzaboy's fourth in his last five starts and 11th of the season in 29 outings. He has been a dominant force in the Open ranks in Delaware all season long for owner EVM Racing LLC. His backers received $2.80 for a $2 ticket.

Ridin The Waves ($3.40) continued to his hot streak, winning his fifth straight race in a claiming event in 1:53.1. The four-year-old Downbytheseaside-Takealilridewithme gelding led through :27.4, :57 and 1:25.1 fractions in line to Tony Morgan and drew clear by 4-1/4 lengths over King Kunta (Montrell Teague), followed by Cavalli Island (Givens). Ridin The Waves, trained by Dan Munson for Penelope Morgan, notched his eighth win of the year in 14 attempts.

Givens won four races on the 15-dash card. Ryder Skinner, 19, had a driving double, piloting a pair of winners for his dad, trainer Jason Skinner.
