Hollywood Casino at The Meadows hosted the 2026 Pennsylvania Stallion Series finals on Saturday, Aug. 5 with eight $55,556 divisions for the Pennsylvania-sired freshman and sophomore pacers and trotters.

Celtic Wave completed a perfect four-for-four Stallions Series season with a career-best 1:50.4 victory in the two-year-old colt and gelding pace. Settling on the lead steps before the half, the gelded son of Captaintreacherous-Certified Ideal proved his divisional dominance with a three-length victory for driver Corey Callahan. Celtic Wave is owned by Kiefer Elite Bloodstock, Theresa Donnelly and trainer John Berger.

Odds On Wonderful and Mike Wilder sprung a 16-1 upset in the two-year-old filly pace. Moving first-over past the half, the daughter of Stay Hungry-Walk On Air powered to a 3-1/2-length, 1:51.3 victory for owner Odds On Racing. It was the second win in the Stallions Series for Odds On Wonderful, who is trained by Virgil Morgan Jr.

Lions Tale sat buried in third along the pylons entering the final turn, but Ronnie Wrenn Jr. found room along the inside to get through to win the two-year-old colt trotting final by a head. The 1:55.3 clocking was a lifetime best for the gelded son of Bar Hopping-Im On Cloud Nine who is trained by Marcus Melander. It was the second victory in the Stallion Series for Lions Tale, who is owned by Brixton Medical Inc. and Hatfield Stables.

Sevenoops Hanover and Matt Kakaley went from worst to first to capture the two-year-old filly trotting crown, prevailing by half a length in a new mark of 1:55.3. Trained by Petter Engblom for owners Engblom Farm, Evan Nation and Hickory Hollow Stables, the daughter of Greenshoe-Sevenopper was near-perfect in Stallions Series action, winning three of four starts.

Sandyboots Yankee and Ronnie Wrenn Jr. went coast to coast in 1:49.4 to win the three-year-old filly pace. The daughter of Always B Miki-A Beach Cowgirl picked up the victory for trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, Lawrence Karr and Phillip Collura. It was a career-best effort for Sandyboots Yankee, who had two 2026 Stallions Series victories prior to Saturday's final.

Winnercircleseeker lived up to his name in the three-year-old pacing colt division, winning the Stallions Series final by more than nine lengths. Going first-over down the backside for Ronnie Wrenn Jr., the gelded son of Sweet Lou-Dont Forget rolled to a 1:48.3 victory, giving trainer Ron Burke a second Stallions Series championship. The performance was a career-best for Winnercircleseeker, who is owned by Burke Racing Stable, Lawrence Karr, Phillip Collura and Brad Grant.

Just Teasing turned a perfect Andy Miller drive into a three-year-old trotting filly Stallions Series crown. The daughter of Captain Corey-Just Joshing sat comfortably in the two-hole until the head of the stretch, before a :28.2 final panel carried her to a 1:52.4 career-best victory and her first Stallions Series win this year. Julie Miller trains Just Teasing for Andy Miller Stable, Jean Goehlen and Windsong Stable.

Emmett Hanover and Aaron Merriman cleared to the lead at the three-quarter pole but had to fight to the wire to hold on for the victory in three-year-old trotting colt final. Second in two previous Stallions Series events, the son of Greenshoe-Emmylou Who turned in a career-best 1:53.3 effort to win by a nose for owner Nick Shaw. The Meadows regular Justin Pirillo trains Emmett Hanover.

On Saturday afternoon's 13-race card, Ronnie Wrenn Jr. steered six winners to earn top driving honours, while Ron Burke's five wins gave him top training honours. They combined for the two aforementioned Stallion Series victories plus two of their other wins.

Racing will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at The Meadows, with a 13-race card. First-race post is scheduled for 12:45 p.m.
