Park Street Blues converted on a pocket trip to capture the $37,500 Summer Sensation Claiming Series Final at Tioga Downs on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Gotta Go Gram (Jim Pantaleano) forged to the front past Park Street Blues (Braxten Boyd) and led to the quarter in :27 and zoomed to the half in :55.1.  Ouchie (Mike Merton) was first to make a move heading down the backstretch but faded down the backstretch, and Nineteenth Man A (Mitchell Cushing) then made a three-wide move and edged ahead of Gotta Go Gram at three-quarters in 1:23.1.

As they reached the stretch, Gotta Go Gram reclaimed the lead, but Park Street Blues dove to the inside and blasted by that rival to win by a length in 1:53.1.  Mickie Mantle (Ridge Warren) finished third.

Park Street Blues, a six-year-old gelding by Heston Blue Chip-Treasure Valley, is owned by the Wine Stable and trained by Tee Wine. He is now three-for-12 this year and eight-for-80 lifetime. He paid $5.46 to win.

Sonofabusinessman took the lower-level $23,611 Summer Sensation Claiming Series final in 1:52.3 with Mike Merton in the bike for trainer Kevin Reynolds Jr.

Jim Pantaleano had a driving hat trick on the 10-race card. Trainer Kevin Reynolds sent out two winners.

Live racing returns to Tioga Downs on Sunday, starting at 12:30 p.m.
