Millionaire three-year-old pacing filly Loua Dipa returned to action in the Tuesday, Sept. 1 qualifying session at The Meadows.

In her first charted appearance since competing against the colts in the late-July Adios, the Ron Burke-trained Loua Dipa lined up with three of her older stablemates returning from layoffs for the fourth and final qualifier of the morning. She followed Dream Bird and Brad Burke through opening fractions of :28.4 and :58.2 before accelerating to the top down the backstretch for her regular reinsman Ronnie Wrenn Jr. Loua Dipa hit three-quarters in 1:25.4 and took off in a :27.2 final quarter to win the qualifier in 1:53.1 by nearly seven lengths. Side Piece and Kenneth Weimer came on for second with Ron Burke guiding Gung Ho into third, finishing just ahead of Dream Bird.

The 2025 divisional Dan Patch Award winner is four-for-seven in her sophomore season, including record victories in the Grade 1 Fan Hanover Stakes and Grade 3 Jerry Silverman Memorial. She also won a third-leg division of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and was second by a head in the first round.

Trainer Ron Burke told Trot Insider before the qualifier that the homebred daughter of Sweet Lou is being pointed to the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championship coming up this Sunday at Harrah's Philadelphia.

A 13-time career winner with more than $1.5 million in earnings, Loua Dipa is owned by Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi.
