The Harness Racing B.C. (HRBC) Board of Directors has approved a waiver of the 2026 HRBC membership fee in recognition of the financial challenges associated with the licensing and racing requirements for the upcoming Osoyoos race meet.

While the membership fee has been waived for 2026, all members are still required to complete the necessary membership requirements in order to maintain their membership in good standing. 

To maintain membership, submit a completed 2026 Membership Form and a signed HRBC Code of Conduct to [email protected] no later than Sept. 7, 2026. 

Pursuant to Bylaw 2.4, an individual becomes a member only after meeting the requirements set out in Bylaws 2.2 and 2.3 and being accepted by the Board of Directors. Members who do not submit the required documentation will not have fulfilled the conditions of membership and may not be considered members in good standing until all outstanding requirements have been satisfied. 

Members who have already paid the 2026 membership fee will receive a full refund by e-transfer.
