Nominations are now being accepted for the California Sires Stakes, for foals of 2023, 2024 and 2025, to be raced at the Fresno, California fairgrounds.

The foals of 2023 will only be eligible if they are currently on the eligibility list that had previously been nominated. For foals of 2024 and 2025, the California Sires Stakes will be open to those foals whose sires are currently eligible in their own state/province. Those states/provinces are California, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Alberta.

The Fresno meet will start on Dec. 12, 2026, with the four-year-old stakes starting on Jan. 16 & 17, 2027 and the three-year-old stakes starting on Jan. 29 & 30, 2027. The Fresno meet runs until April 30, 2027.

Sires stakes information will be available on the California Harness Horsemen's Association website at chhaonline.com.
