Raised around them from before she could even walk, Tamara Vandewiel loves horses as much as she loves life. In the winter of 2025, however, one of the horses in her care took advantage of the young mother’s kind nature, and in an instant that very life was threatened.
It was Tamara’s strength and spirit that helped her survive that harrowing ordeal, and now it’s a spirited little Ontario Sires Stakes Gold-winning colt that she owns, who has helped put that entire episode behind her.
