Wall Of Fame flexed her class with a :54.2 back half to ring her undefeated record to five wins with a 1:52.2 effort in the $111,111 Kentucky Championship Series second preliminary for two-year-old trotting fillies on Monday afternoon (Aug. 17) at The Red Mile.

Driver Andy Miller glided towards the top with Wall Of Fame and cleared narrowly through a :29.4 first quarter while Heart Of Secret (driven by Yannick Gingras) brushed by for the lead. Miller then looped Wall Of Fame back to the point and reclaimed command snugly to a :58 half before gathering steam through the far turn. Wall Of Fame clocked three-quarters in 1:25.3 and rolled for home to leave her competitors straggling through the lane while she cruised over the line a three-length winner. Heart Of Secret held second with Fleur Delacour (Dexter Dunn) rallying from second over for third, Sweetest Of All (Scott Zeron) taking fourth and Kissme Ifyoucan (Austin Hanners) tiring from a first-over push in the last turn for last in the quintet.

Julie Miller trains Wall Of Fame, a daughter of Walner-Saadet, for owners Andy Miller Stable Inc., Jean Goehlen, Hutchison Harness LLC and Rick Huffman. The filly, purchased for $83,333 as a yearling at the 2025 Lexington Selected Sale, has banked $264,875 through her career and paid $3.26 to win.

Trainer Marcus Melander swept the pair of $41,667 Kentucky Commonwealth Series divisions for two-year-old trotting fillies on the undercard as part of a hat trick on the day. Turtle Dove (Tim Tetrick, 1:54.4 winning mile; $7.16 to win) inherited the win in the first division via disqualification of 6-5 favourite Merry Zee (Yannick Gingras), who crossed the line first but was placed last for switching to a pace in the last sixteenth, while Jot It Down (Dexter Dunn, 1:55.4; $14.44) powered first up to win the other division over stablemate A Tale Of Kemp (Marvin Luna). Melander’s hat trick concluded with a win by Mine Mine Mine (Dexter Dunn, 1:56.4; $4.60) in the second of three $14,085 divisions for the Kentucky Wildcat Series.

Four $20,833 divisions of the Kentucky Golden Rod Series also hit the track on the 15-race card. Trainer Petter Engblom doubled with wins by Hanna Hill (Andy McCarthy, 1:54; $5.30) and Mooncraft (Yannick Gingras, 1:54.1; $5.08) while Your Grace (Marvin Luna, 1:56; $13.56) and London Bi (Andy Miller, 1:56.4; $9.26) won the other dashes.

Seaside Ubeaut snagged an easy lead and rolled through sensible fractions to win the $111,111 Kentucky Championship Series second preliminary for two-year-old pacing fillies during a makeup card of racing on Monday evening at The Red Mile.

Leaving from post three, Seaside Ubeaut (driven by Dexter Dunn) pushed for the front with My Taylors Swift (Todd McCarthy) securing the pocket towards a :28 first quarter. The field remained single file as Seaside Ubeaut coasted up the backstretch towards a :55.4 half but steadily broke rank while Dunn’s charge strode through the last turn. Banana Beach (Andy McCarthy) angled out of fourth to race first up while Seaside Ubeaut plugged towards three-quarters in 1:23.4. My Taylors Swift had room to pull from the pocket into the stretch and laid aim on the leader, but Seaside Ubeaut staved off that rival all through the stretch to cross the beam a neck better in a 1:50.3 mile with Banana Beach settling for third and Sister Girl Blues (Marvin Luna) giving chase in fourth.

Andrew Harris trains Seaside Ubeaut, a filly by Downbytheseaside out of world champion mare Warrawee Ubeaut who collected her second win from three starts and pushed her earnings to $85,967 for owner Punisher 11 Stable of Freehold, NJ.

Driver Tim Tetrick was unseated from Fendilicious just after the start of that Kentucky Championship Series division when one of his lines broke. Tetrick stood up from the incident and walked back to the paddock on his own power but booked off his remaining drives for the evening.

Tetrick won earlier in the makeup card in the lone $41,667 division of the Kentucky Commonwealth Series for two-year-old pacing fillies when making a fierce first-over blitz in the last turn with Pillow Play to grab the lead and then hold off pocket-rallying Sweet As Silk (Todd McCarthy) for a neck victory in 1:51.1. Scott Di Domenico trains the Papi Rob Hanover-Angel’s Pride filly for owners Triple D Stables Inc. of Jamesburg, NJ, Michael Rekoon of Westfield, NJ, and Steve Stewart of Paris, KY.

Regularly scheduled racing resumes on Tuesday (Aug. 18) with a 15-race card headlined by an $80,000 USD Kentucky Championship Series division for three-year-old pacing males and an $80,000 USD Kentucky Championship Series division for three-year-old trotting fillies. First-race post time for Tuesday’s card is 1 p.m. (EDT).
