No Plan Intended Continues Win Streak At Georgian

No Plan Intended winning at Grand River Raceway

Following four straight wins at Clinton Raceway, No Plan Intended added a fifth to his current streak with a successful Georgian Downs debut on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

No Plan Intended continued his win streak in the $8,000 claiming ranks as he rallied from the backfield to get up in time in the evening's $7,500 seventh race for driver Jason Ryan.

Coming off back-to-back wins of his own, Ara You Crazy (Paul MacKenzie) led the field of eight through panels of :28, :57 and 1:25 while the favoured No Plan Intended followed in the outer flow after getting away sixth. Starting his rally from third-over with a quarter-mile to go, No Plan Intended hustled wide around the final turn and out-finished a pair of rivals to his inside for the 1:54.3 season's best victory, besting the first-over pursuer Skylar (Sam Fillion) and pocket-puller Thatll Be Tiger (Brady Galliers) by less than a length while Ara You Crazy gave way late and ended up fourth.

Terry Gallant trains the Up The Credit-Warrawee Star gelding, who boasts a dozen wins from 23 starts in his eight-year-old campaign. No Plan Intended's seasonal win count ties him with four-year-old pacing mare Lets N Joy N for most in Canada so far this year.

A career winner of 48 races, No Plan Intended has earned $382,142 in purses to date.

The 2-5 bettors' choice paid $2.80 to win.
