Harrah's Hoosier Park readies to host its annual Empire of Hope event on Saturday, July 25, a day dedicated to raising funds for the Standardbred Transition Alliance and awareness for aftercare of the sport's equine athletes with an evening of family fun activities and giveways on track.

Since its inception in 2019, Empire of Hope has raised more than $200,000 USD for the Standardbred Transition Alliance, including a record $75,000 USD in 2025. Guests and horsepeople alike will have a wide array to donate to the worthy cause all weekend at Hoosier Park.

On Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, guests may donate $5 USD and receive $5 USD in either Free Slot Play or race wagering at the Caesars Rewards Center located in the casino. Additionally on Friday, Empire of Hope t-shirts are for sale at the Program Stand on Trackside during traditional business hours. Horsepeople on the Hoosier Park backstretch will be able to participate in the Empire of Hope rummage sale in the paddock area from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, in addition to the give $5 USD, get $5 USD promo and t-shirt sales, guests may also donate $5 USD to receive a mystery voucher worth up to $100 USD on Trackside located near the Sports Book beginning at 5 p.m. Guests may also take a lap around the Hoosier Park oval behind a Standardbred with a Hoosier Park racing participant from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a $20 USD donation as part of Charity Chariots taking place in the front paddock on the track apron. Additionally, donation boxes for Empire of Hope are located throughout the property on Trackside and in the casino where guests may deposit cash or Tito Tickets.

In addition to Empire of Hope, Saturday will also feature a family fun Saturday with rock walls, euro bungees, bounce houses, food trucks and a vendor market on the track apron from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will also be a free Amish country dinner available for all guests on the track apron, beginning at 5 p.m. while supplies last provided by Harness Horse Breeders of Indiana.

Saturday also marks the conclusion of the the Reins to the Roads promotion, where prizes valued at more than $15,000 USD will be given away throughout the evening. Prizes include a Denago electric golf cart, a Toro zero-turn mower, yard equipment, televisions and a set of Wilson golf clubs. Guests at least 18 years of age may still get in on the drawings on Saturday, with free entries available near the winner's circle beginning at 5 p.m. until the start of the sixth race. Prizes will be awarded on Saturday with drawings taking place after each of races seven through 12. Prizes for the Reins to the Road drawing were donated by the Harness Breeders of Indiana and the Indiana Standardbred Association.

Live racing on Saturday gets underway at 5:30 p.m. with a 14-race program featuring the second leg of Indiana Sire Stakes for two-year-old trotting fillies, as well as Open events for trotters and filly and mare pacers.
