Officials at Running Aces have cancelled the live harness racing program for Thursday night, July 16, for the safety of the horses and horsepeople, due to dangerous air quality caused by smoke from the wildfires in northern Minnesota. 

The air quality is expected to improve by Saturday and live racing is scheduled to resume on Sunday, July 19 with post time at 6 p.m. (CDT).
