In his return to Quebec where he remains undefeated, Enavant launched his 10-year-old campaign with a 1:54.3 victory in the $7,000 Preferred Handicap Pace on Sunday, July 12 at Hippodrome 3R.

Driven by Antoine Desrochers, Enavant took on the 1-5 favourite, Bets Beach (Pascal Berube), from the outset in his comeback and cleared to command after being parked the :28.1 opening quarter. He remained in full control from that point forward, setting fractions of :57.3 to the half and 1:27 to three-quarters before kicking away 3-1/2 lengths in a :27.3 final quarter as Bets Beach launched from the pocket off the final turn. Bets Beach settled for second for his fourth straight start following Series Quebecoises competition while Self Made (Stephane Brosseau) rounded out the top three.

Enavant previously won three races at 3R in 2024 and his seven other appearances at the Quebec half-mile oval in 2020, all while trained by Maxime Velaye. The Somebeachsomewhere-Lady Be Great gelding, who was campaigned by Luc Blais previously when racing outside of Quebec, went over $300,000 in career earnings with his 25th victory from 54 starts.

Velaye currently trains the veteran pacer, who last raced a year ago on July 14, 2025 and is now owned by Dr. Marie-Soleil Dubois of Mirabel, Que.

Returning to action off a pair of sharp qualifiers in Trois-Rivieres, he paid $9.90 to win as the 7-2 second choice in the Preferred field of seven.

Another pacer boasting a perfect record at 3R won again during the afternoon program. Three-year-old Cattlewash-Tymal Sugarbabydoll gelding Golddiamond improved to five-for-five with a career-best mile of 1:56.2 in a $3,750 conditioned race for young pacers for trainer/driver Stephane Brosseau and owners Robert Bergeron and Chantal Trepanier of Laval, Que.
