Wager On Me ($31.20) was an upset 1:52.3 winner in the $32,143 Open Pace on Monday, July 6 at Harrington Raceway as the pacer notched his 50th career victory.

Wager On Me, at 14-1, authored the opening quarter-mile in :27.1 for driver Mike Cole and sped to the half-mile in :55.4 with the outer flow developing. Wehadababyetzaboy (Brandon Givens) applied first-over pressure to three-quarters in 1:24.1, but Wager On Me would not be denied in the stretch, fighting off a game Wehadababyetzaboy, who was second by half a length, for his milestone victory. Mr Three O Five (Montrell Teague) received a pocket trip and finished third. 

Trained by Joe Columbo, the winning 10-year-old Bettors Delight-Ravishnmasterpiece gelding recorded his sixth win of the year from 24 starts. Owned by George and Tina Dennis Racing of Wyoming, Delaware, Wager On Me boosted his lifetime earnings to $749,989.

Art Stafford Jr. had three wins on the Monday card, while Allan Davis and Brandon Givens each had a driving double.

Live harness racing will continue through Wednesday, July 8 (post time 4:30 p.m.) before the annual summer hiatus.
