Clinton Plans Online Auction Leading Up To Legends Day

Harness racing at Clinton Raceway

As part of the 2026 Legends Day events at Clinton Raceway, the racetrack will be hosting an online auction supporting Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.

The auction will run July 10 through July 24, with every bid helping to support local health care in the community.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations and individuals, this year's auction is already shaping up to be one of the best yet. Featured items include a foursome of golf at Forest City National Golf Club with harness racing legend John Campbell, a Prince Edward Island cottage rental, Toronto Maple Leafs tickets, sports memorabilia, a dinner experience at The Meadowlands and many more exciting packages.

Organizers are still accepting donations of unique experiences, vacation getaways, gift certificates, sports and entertainment packages, home and garden items, artwork and other premium auction items.

"The support we've already received has been incredible, but there's still time for businesses and individuals to make an impact," said Jessica Carnochan, Marketing Manager at Clinton Raceway. "Every donated item helps raise funds that stay right here in our community through the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind experience or a gift package, every contribution makes a difference."

The online auction has become a highlight leading up to Legends Day, attracting bidders from across Ontario while showcasing the generosity of local businesses and supporters.

Those wishing to donate an item are encouraged to contact Clinton Raceway as soon as possible to ensure their donation is included before the auction opens on July 10.

Legends Day returns to Clinton Raceway on Sunday, July 26, celebrating harness racing's greatest legends while raising funds for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation through a variety of fundraising initiatives throughout the day.
