The 2026 Buckeye Stallion Series resumes with the third leg for sophomore fillies on Sunday, June 21 and Monday, June 22 at Northfield Park.

Sunday’s 15-race card starts at 6 p.m. and features three $20,000 USD divisions of three-year-old filly pacers. There have been nine different winners through the first two legs, six of which are entered in Sunday’s races.

The third division includes three of those prior winners in Bad Girl Up (Tyler Smith), Climate (Trevor Smith) and Racing Artist (Kurt Sugg). Climate was a winner in the first leg at Northfield on May 3 in 1:53. The Downbytheseaside filly has hit the board in six of eight seasonal starts with two wins and is trained by Joe Seekman. She will leave from the far outside. Bad Girl Up and Racing Artist were both victorious in the second leg at Eldorado Scioto Downs on June 5 in 1:52.2 and 1:52, respectively. Bad Girl Up, a Lather Up filly trained by Ron Potter, will leave from post five. She has two wins and one second in six starts this year. Racing Artist is a Racing Hill filly trained by Bill Webb. She has hit the board in six of eight starts with one win this season and will leave from post seven. Bad Girl Up is the 5-2 morning line favourite in the race with Cory Deyermand trainee Extra Sweet (Dan Noble) as the 4-1 second choice leaving from post four.

First-leg winners Cruzin Tothe Pier (Noble) and Baxter Tough (Tyler Smith) are in the first division. The Downbytheseaside filly Cruzin Tothe Pier will leave from post seven. The Ron Steck trainee took her opening-leg victory in 1:55.3 and has three wins and one second in seven seasonal starts. She is the 7-2 second choice behind 9-5 favourite Blood Queen (Chris Lems), a Ryan Miller trainee who will leave from post two. Trained by Joshua Rowe, Baxter Tough won in the first leg in 1:56.1. The Dancin Yankee filly has hit the board in seven of 13 starts with three wins this year and will leave from the rail.

Queen Valerie (Chris Page) is the lone prior Stallion Series winner in the second division. That victory came in the first leg in 1:56.1 and marks her lone win in seven seasonal starts. Trained by Ron Burke, the Summa Cum Laude filly is listed at 6-1 odds on the morning line and will leave from post six. Shes Lit (Tyler Smith) is the 5-2 favourite ahead of 7-2 second choice Takeaway Hanover (Noble). Trained by Scott Mogan, Shes Lit will leave from post three, while Deyermand trainee Takeaway Hanover drew the rail.

Monday’s 16-race card at Northfield includes four $20,000 USD divisions of the Stallion Series for three-year-old filly trotters. Post time is 6 p.m. The Stallion Series for sophomore filly trotters has produced nine different winners through its first two legs and eight of them are racing in Monday’s third leg. The second and third divisions each contain three winners from previous legs.

Lynn Range (Tyler Smith), Mockingbird As (Page) and Princess Karolyn (Sam Widger) are in the second division. Trained by Herman Hagerman, Lynn Range is an In Range filly with two wins and one second in five seasonal starts. She took a win in the first leg in 1:56.1 at Northfield and will leave from post two. Mockingbird As and Princess Karolyn were second-leg winners at Scioto Downs in 1:57 and 1:55, respectively. That was the lone seasonal win in five starts for Mockingbird As, a Guardian Angel As filly trained by Anette Lorentzon. She drew post six for Monday. Princess Karolyn will leave from post seven. The Creatine filly is trained by Rosy Weaver and has three wins and one second in seven starts this season. Ranger Rosie (Tyler Angus), an In Range filly trained by Miles Wollam, is the 7-2 favourite in the division and will leave from post five. Princess Karolyn and Im Your Romance (Sugg), a Marseille filly and Doug Rine trainee who drew the rail, are co-second choice at 4-1.

The three prior Stallion Series winners in the third division are Moolah In The Bank (Lems), Off The Rails (Luke Hanners) and Til The End As (Sugg). They won three of the four divisions in the opening leg in 1:57.1, 1:58.2 and 1:59.3, respectively. Moolah In The Bank is trained by Scott Cox. The In Range filly has hit the board in five of eight seasonal starts with three wins and will leave from post seven. Enterprise filly Off The Rails is trained by Deborah Swartz. She has two wins and one third in six starts this year and drew post three. Til The End As will leave from the far outside. The Guardian Angel As filly has one win in three seasonal starts and is trained by Lorentzon. The 5-2 morning line favourite in the division is Supreme Dance (Widger), a Full Count filly trained by Weaver who drew the rail. Leaving from post four is  3-1 second choice Judys Moni (Angus), a Ready For Moni filly trained by Jason McGinnis.

Shes In (Tyler Smith), a winner in the second leg in 1:55.3, highlights the first division. The In Range filly trained by Wollam is listed at 7-1 odds on the morning line and drew post five. The 5-2 early favourite is Capturethephoto (Noble). The Uncle Peter filly is trained by Brian Georges and will leave from the rail. Lucky Lady Volo (Justin Irvine) is the 3-1 second choice. The In Range filly is trained by Erv Miller and drew post four.

No Approval Needed (Noble) drew the rail in the fourth division and is the early 7-5 favourite. A winner in the second leg in 1:54.3, the Uncle Peter filly has three wins and one second in four seasonal starts. She is trained by Ryan Stahl. Lindy Princess (Hanners) is the 7-2 second choice. The Ready For Moni filly trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. will leave from post six.
