Hoosier Calls Card After Four Races
Harrah's Hoosier Park cancelled its Wednesday, June 17 card after four races due to inclement weather.
In pre-cancellation action, a pair of two-year-olds earned their first pari-mutuel victories in the Indiana-sired Fair Circuit series for freshman pacing males. Over a sloppy track, Rockalone ($3) scored in 1:58.4 in the first $4,200 division, and This Captain Rocks ($2.80) won the second in 1:57.1. Both had won previously in the series on fair tracks.
Racing is set to resume at Hoosier on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with a 14-race card.
