Driver Change Announced For Quebec / Eastern Ontario Regional

Driver change announced for 2026 QEORDC

Standardbred Canada (SC) has announced that Guy Gagnon has withdrawn from the 2026 Quebec / Eastern Ontario Regional Driving Championship (QEORDC) for personal reasons.

Stephane Brosseau will replace Gagnon in the event.

The field of drivers for the 2026 QEORDC, scheduled for Sunday, June 14 at Hippodrome Trois-Rivières in Trois-Rivières, Que., is as follows:

Drivers were invited to participate based on racing statistics from the 2025 season, along with their availability to compete in both the National Driving Championship and the 2027 World Driving Championship, as well as their ability to positively represent Canada on an international stage.

Drivers will receive points based on their finishing positions. The top two point earners, following the eight-race competition, will advance to the 2026 National Driving Championship at Clinton Raceway in Clinton, Ont., on Sunday, July 26.

First-race post time for the QEORDC card is 12 noon (EDT). The event will be available to watch free on the Standardbred Canada website and the Hippodrome Trois-Rivières YouTube channel.
