Driver Tyler Smith guided a pair of winners as Eldorado Scioto Downs hosted five $27,778 divisions of the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for three-year-old filly pacers on Friday, June 5.

The Smith-driven Bad Girl Up ($3.60) won the fourth division by three lengths in a lifetime-best 1:52. The Lather Up filly led the field past the quarter pole in :26.3 and was in second place at the halfway mark as Zooom Call (Luke Hanners) was in front in :56. Zooom Call continued to lead and crossed the three-quarters in 1:24.2 with Bad Girl Up in the pocket.

Down the final stretch, Bad Girl Up moved outside of Zooom Call and pulled away for the victory. Zooom Call was second followed by Ima Beach Girl (Justin Irvine) in third. Bad Girl Up is trained by Ron Potter for owners Last Laugh and Spring Haven Farm. She has two wins and $27,534 in earnings in five seasonal starts.

Smith was also the winning driver in the third division, guiding Rhodena Blue ($8.80; pictured) to victory in a lifetime mark of 1:51.4 for trainer Neil MacInnis. The Lather Up filly was in fifth place and trailed leader Juliet Capulet (Sam Widger) by three lengths at the three-quarter pole. But Smith took her four-wide behind the leader entering the final stretch, and a late push put her in front at the line. Blood Queen (Marvin Luna) was second, and Juliet Capulet was third. Rhodena Blue is co-owned by MacInnis and his daughter, Rory. She has two wins in four seasonal starts with $24,339 in earnings.

Shehasaway ($3; Brett Miller) recorded the fastest mile of the five divisions on Friday, winning the first in a lifetime-best 1:51.3. The Summa Cum Laude filly was in sixth place at the quarter pole but took the lead at the halfway mark en route to winning by three-quarters of a length. Jamie Amanda (Hanners) and Pina Cum Laude (Luna) rounded out the top three. Shehasaway is trained by Steve Bauder, who co-owns the horse with Douglas Swihart and Harold Bauder. Friday marked her first seasonal win, giving her three career victories and $103,141 in lifetime earnings.

Racing Artist ($7.80; Luna) won the second division in a lifetime mark of 1:52.2 for her first victory of the season. Trained by Bill Webb, the Racing Hill filly won by 1-1/4 lengths over Beach Babe Hanover (Irvine) in second with Odds On Dividend (Hanners) finishing third. Racing Artist is owned by Webb and Denny Miller. She has a lifetime record of 9-4-6 and $109,233 in earnings in 20 starts.

Sea Me (Hanners) took the fifth division by a quarter-length in 1:53.2, giving her two wins in three seasonal starts and increasing her earnings to $22,793. Not raced as a freshman, the Downbytheseaside filly led wire to wire in the victory. Shes Lit (Smith) and Climate (Luna) rounded out the top three. Sea Me is trained by Virgil Morgan Jr., who co-owns the horse with Let It Ride Stables and Odds On Racing.

The Buckeye Stallion Series continues on Saturday, June 6 with 10 $20,000 USD divisions of the second leg for sophomore colts and geldings at Northfield Park Racino as part of the Battle of Lake Erie undercard. First-race post time is 6 p.m. (EDT).
