Headlining the afternoon of Sunday, July 26, 2026, is the Legends Day Invitational Trot, featuring an all-star lineup of celebrated Hall of Fame drivers whose accomplishments have helped define the sport for generations. Fans will see the following legends on track and in the sulky:
- Doug Brown
- Chris Christoforou
- Steve Condren
- Wally Hennessey
- Carl Jamieson
- Paul MacDonell
- Mike Saftic
Adding to the excitement, five Hall of Fame driving greats will also be on hand to celebrate the sport and meet fans. John Campbell, Bill O'Donnell, Trevor Ritchie, Dave Wall and Ron Waples will join the above drivers for an exclusive autograph session from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., giving racing enthusiasts a rare opportunity to meet some of the greatest ambassadors the sport has ever known.
"Legends Day is a celebration of the people who built harness racing into what it is today," said Jessica Carnochan, Marketing Manager of Clinton Raceway. "To have so many Hall of Fame drivers and fan favourites together at Clinton Raceway is truly special — especially given the celebrations of the Hall's 50th Anniversary. It's an opportunity for longtime fans to relive incredible memories and for a new generation to connect with the legends of our sport and give back to our community."
Funds raised from the event will be donated to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, including an online auction and 50/50.
The National Driving Championship is set to be a part of this year's event and will feature drivers from the winning legs of the Regional Driving Championships contested in the Ontario, Western, Quebec-Eastern Ontario and Atlantic regions, showcasing top talent from across our great nation.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of the autograph session and enjoy all the day's festivities.
Gates will open at 11 a.m., featuring the Cowbell Patio Party with live entertainment, lawn games and giveaways from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. First race post time for the afternoon card is set for 1:30 p.m.
