Mr Three O Five Prevails In Photo Finish In Harrington Open

Mr Three O Five winning at Harrington Raceway

Trainer Andrew Glassmeyer's Mr Three O Five was a 1:52.3 winner in the $31,250 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway on Monday, June 1.

Captaincountrystar (Pat Berry) took the early lead from Joker On Jack (Allan Davis), who yielded in the pocket, to a speedy opening quarter-mile in :26.3. Captaincountrystar then faced pressure from first-over Mr Three O Five, out of an early three-hole for Montrell Teague, to a half-mile in :55.4. Captaincountrystar took the field to three-quarters in 1:23.3 but started to tire near the wire as Mr Three O Five and second-over Wager On Me (Mike Cole) had the most momentum and surged to the wire. Mr Three O Five prevailed narrowly in a three-way photo with Wager On Me just nosed out in second and Captaincountrystar third by a head.

Mr Three O Five paid $4.60 to win. The favourite, a former New Jersey stakes winner, equalled his lifetime mark.

The win was the fifth of the year in 20 starts for the five-year-old Lazarus N-World Of Rock stallion, who was acquired by Glassmeyer from a $25,000 USD claiming race at Dover Downs in February. He's earned $122,397 of his $369,509 career bankroll this year.
