The Prince Edward Island Matinee Racetrack Development Program has announced its 2026 race dates.

The season will include nine events among the five Island matinee tracks, kicking off on June 17 in O'Leary, with post time at 6 p.m. (ADT), and concluding on Sept. 22 at Summerside Raceway with the Matinee Finals.

The full schedule is listed below, with dates, post times and locations.

• June 17 - 6 p.m. - O'Leary
• June 28 - 2 p.m. - Pinette Belfast Days (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• July 5 - 2 p.m. - Kensington (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• July 25 - 6 p.m. - O'Leary Potato Blossom
• July 29 - 6 p.m. - Tyne Valley Oyster Festival
• Aug. 8 - 2 p.m. - Alberton Exhibition (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• Aug. 23 - 2 p.m. - Pinette Kilted Pace (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• Sept. 6 - 2 p.m. - Kensington (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• Sept. 9 - 6 p.m. - O'Leary Children's Wish (Horses & Mini Ponies)
• Sept. 22 - 6 p.m. - SRW Matinee Finals
