Upsets from post eight starters Mon Amour, Warrawee Whisper and Cantstop Yankee during the Pick 5 and late Pick 4 sequences on Thursday, April 23 at MGM Yonkers Raceway led to those wagers not being hit for the second time this week. 

As a result, Friday’s program will now have a $9,190.42 carryover and a $30,000 guaranteed pool in the early Pick 4 and an $8,561.03 carryover and $30,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick 5.

The guarantees in the early Pick 4 and Pick 5 are being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program and free past performances, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The early Pick 4, which starts in Race 1, and the Pick 5, which begins in Race 5, have $1 minimums and a takeout rate of 20 per cent.

Three of the four races in Friday’s Pick 4 will be the $50,000 USD divisions of the final preliminary round of the MGM Ursula McIntyre Pacing Series.

Looking forward to Monday, the last leg of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series is set to take place with a trio of $50,000 USD splits.
