The deadline is approaching for Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF) financial aid applications; all forms, videos and related information must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 31.

Scholarships administered by HHYF include:

• Harold & Marcia Snyder Memorial Scholarship (sponsored by International Sound) - for students from harness racing families;
• Curt Greene Memorial Scholarship - for students with a passion for harness racing;
• Sweet Karen Memorial Scholarship - for students who have participated in one or more HHYF summer programs;
• Lynn Fortna Memorial Financial Assistance - for young-at-heart females in harness racing who wish to further their education and/or expand their knowledge about horses.

Celebrating 50 years in 2026, HHYF has awarded and/or administered funds in excess of $1 million USD.
