Nite Time Deal converted a pocket trip to victory in the $31,250 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace on Tuesday, April 14 at Harrington Raceway.

Fengshuiprosperity (Pat Berry) took the early lead from post four and led through fractions of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:25.2 with Nite Time Deal sitting second. Nite Time Deal, driven by Art Stafford Jr., then surged down the inside in the stretch and drew clear by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:55.2 for her fifth win of the season in 13 starts. Jett Propelled (Jason Thomson) closed gamely to get second narrowly over Fengshuiprosperity. 

Nite Time Deal, a seven-year-old daughter of American Ideal-Midnight Art, won for the 21st time in 134 career starts. Chuck Crissman Jr. trains her for Brian Frazier. The win price was $10.20.

Stafford Jr. and Tony Morgan each had three wins on the 13-race card. Russell Foster had a double.

Live racing will continue at Harrington on a Monday-through-Wednesday schedule with post time at 4:30 p.m.
