MSOA Announces 2026 Scholarship Program Details
Applications are now open for the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association's 2026 Scholarship Program, offering more than $59,000 USD in financial support to deserving students as they pursue their next level of education.
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) stated that it is committed to investing in the future of its community by supporting students with strong academic performance, character and ties to the harness racing industry. The 2026 scholarship lineup reflects the generosity and continued dedication of individuals and organizations who believe in empowering the next generation.
The following scholarships are available for the 2026 application cycle:
- $30,000 USD Bob Key Memorial Scholarship, donated by Patty Key
- $7,400 USD Greenshoe Scholarship, donated by Hanover Shoe Farms
- $5,000 USD MSOA Scholarship
- $5,000 USD Burke Racing Scholarship, donated by Burke Racing
- $5,000 USD In Memory of Mickey Burke Scholarship, donated by Sylvia Burke
- $3,800 USD Heston Blue Chip Scholarship, donated by Winbak Farm
- $2,500 USD Amulet Rehabilitation and Conditioning Scholarship, donated by Tom and Janet Svrcek
- $1,000 USD Meadows Scholarship, donated by Hollywood Casino at The Meadows
"These scholarships represent an incredible opportunity for students to achieve their educational goals," said Dawnelle Johnston, MSOA Executive Director. "We are deeply grateful to our donors whose generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people."
Applications are now being accepted, and eligible students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The deadline is Friday, May 22, 2026.
