Meadowlands Racetrack will offer its racing oval to those trainers wanting to train their horses over the surface, beginning Thursday, May 7 and continuing each Thursday morning through Thursday, May 28. 

The gates to the backstretch and paddock will open beginning at 7 a.m. and the track will be available until noon for training purposes. 

This year, the costs associated with training horses will need to be split evenly between trainers and the number of horses training that day. For example, the cost for each day is $5,000 USD to cover the Meadowlands Racetrack expenses and if five trainers reserve the track and each has 10 horses, the cost would be $100 USD per horse.

Trainers must check each horse in on the morning of with security and will be billed accordingly. Trainers are being asked to bring a cheque made out to "New Meadowlands Racetrack."
