The Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has approved the application made by RIC (KDHR) Inc. to change the 2026 race date schedule for Kawartha Downs.

The race date schedule for Kawartha has been amended with the addition of Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026 and the removal of Saturday, July 11, 2026. Post time is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The application for amendment to the 2026 race date schedule was reviewed by Ontario Racing and Ontario Lottery and Gaming and recommendations for approval of the changes were received from both organizations.

The approved changes to the 2026 race date schedule are also conditional upon approval by the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency.
