Longtime harness racing industry participant Larry Carter of Windsor, Ont. passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 73.

Larry had an outgoing personality and was an avid sports fan. He was a partner in Rusty Cart Stables early on in his racing days. Over the years, he had numerous horses racing on the Ontario and American circuits. Harness racing was a huge part of his life in which he made many life long friends.

Cremation has taken place.
