The Woodstock Driving Club is hosting an online stallion auction, with bidding now open and set to close on Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m. (AST).

The auction provides breeders with an excellent opportunity to access proven bloodlines while supporting the continued growth of grassroots harness racing in Woodstock, N.B.

The first offering is a breeding to Control The Moment, donated by Tara Hills Stud, with a starting bid of $1,000. The second offering is one breeding to the stallion of the winning bidder’s choice of Shanghai Phil, Rock Of Cashel or Pendleton Rodeo, donated by Burkie By The Bay Stables, with a starting bid of $500.

The auction is being conducted online through organizer Courtney McKay's Facebook page. All bids must be placed in the comments section beneath the individual stallion listings and must follow the required $100 bid increments. The highest bid received by the closing time will be declared the winner, and successful bidders will be announced on Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m. (AST).
