With the Feb. 15 stakes deadline looming, Woodbine Mohawk Park is reminding owners and trainers of two-year-olds of the various stakes opportunities available this season.

New for 2026, as previously reported, the Dream Maker, Whenuwishuponastar, Millard Farms and Pure Ivory have all been switched from a three-week series to elimination/final format. These four summer stakes have annually been a launching pad to bigger stakes success. The new format and stakes payment schedule is expected to lead to sizable purses for each final ($125,000 to $150,000).
