Jamieson Scores Six Wins At Woodbine
After winning five dashes on last Saturday’s program at Woodbine Racetrack, driver Jody Jamieson upped the ante on Friday night and won six of the 12 races
.
Canada’s reigning Driver of the Year kicked off the evening with a three-race win streak, which also gave O’Brien Award winning conditioner Jeff Gillis a training triple.
Jamieson guided Continual Velocity ($15.40, 1:51.1), Illusionsndreams ($4.70, 1:54.2) and Classic Alana ($5.40, 1:55.3) to victory in races one though three.
In race seven, the reinsman and Jack Darling trainee Big Mcdeal ($2.70, 1:53), who equalled the 1:50.2 world record for freshman filly pacers on a one-mile track last year at The Red Mile, were able to overcome post 10 to score. The win was her first this year in two starts.

The Moffat, Ont. resident, who has won six races on a single card three times in 2011 on the WEG circuit, currently sits atop Woodbine's 2012 driver standings with 106 victories in 585 starts and over $2 million in seasonal earnings.
